Wednesday 2nd of June in Saronno took place the event "Arte e Motori" organized by Rotaract Club Saronno and the cultural association Cantastorie with patronage of the municipality. For the occasion the Lopresto Collection has showed to the public the Isotta Fraschini 8C Monterosa Coupé Touring, one of the two survived pieces of this model, among the five built.

Forty years after the purchase of his first vintage car, the famous collector Corrado Lopresto organized a Raid at the end of 2019 that was supposed to cross Italy from Palermo to Milan, passing through Bagnara Calabra, his hometown.
The protagonist of the expedition is the 3-speed Fiat Balilla purchased by Lopresto on 23 December 1979 and still in perfect working order, accompanied by the vintage cars of friends and enthusiasts who come together along the way.
On August 15, 2020, the exhibition "From the Racetrack to the Opera: Marques that did it all" was inaugurated at the Audrain Automobile Museum in Newport, Rhode Island, in the USs. There were over seventy enthusiasts who met for the occasion, listening to the story of the Lopresto collection, born just 40 years ago (in December 1979 with the purchase of the first Balilla) and continued until today with many awards including the FIVA award sponsored by Unesco for the restoration of the Giulietta SZ.
The 2019's edition of the Concours d'Elegance of Pebble Beach, was the occasion for the debut of the restored car from the Lopresto Collection in collaboration with Polo Storico Lamborghini. It is the legendary Lamborghini Miura P400 protagonist in the movie "The Italian Job", property of the swiss car collector Fritz Kaiser, it was submitted under a detailed restoration and studied in detail. The car is one of the fewest Miura with white leather seats, chassis 3586, built in the june of 1968 just in time for the movie's shooting.
The car won the third prize in the dedicated class for the Lamborghini Miura, behind the SV of Jean Todt and the P400 Postwar, won by an Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato of David MacNeil.
Inaugurated on Monday 21 October 2019, the exhibition “Fashion & Cars” is the third chapter of the “Italo Design” trilogy, telling the story of Italian car styling thanks to the cars of the Lopresto Collection.
The exhibition combines, in a not-unprecedented but certainly unusual combination, very rare custom-built cars with haute couture dresses, lent by the collection of Maison Mila Schön. A combination that reminds the 1950s and 1960s concourses d’elegance and recalls how coachworks were born like clothes back then, tailor-made for the client by world-famous stylists.
